A new Technology Program launched

A new Technology Program call has been launched. The grant program is designed to promote growth and strengthen the competitiveness of SMEs through digital transformation.

The call promotes the acquisition of new technological equipment and equipment that must be linked to existing or newly acquired technologies by the information system. The maximum amount of public support can be up to CZK 40,000,000. The aim of the Technology program is to promote growth and strengthen the competitiveness of SMEs through digital transformation, thus contributing to regional development.

Supported activities are for example:

  • Acquisition of new machines, technological equipment, other equipment for production
  • Interconnection of existing technologies by autonomous two-way communication into the production process
  • Optimization and streamlining of production processes
  • Digitization of production processes

The grant program can finance tangible fixed assets (machinery, hardware, equipment, equipment necessary for operation) or intangible fixed assets (software, patent licenses, programs, data, databases).

Applicants may only be SMEs. The planned allocation represents CZK 1 billion, which gives small and medium-sized enterprises a good chance of getting a subsidy for a good project. The minimum subsidy is CZK 1,000,000 and the maximum subsidy is CZK 40,000,000.

State aid may amount to:

  • 45% of eligible expenditure for small enterprises
  • 35% of eligible expenditure for medium-sized enterprises

Estimated receipt of applications is 23.09.2019 and termination of applications is 16.12.2019.
